Providing this training to your bilingual and multilingual employees complies with all federal regulations including The Joint Commission, Section 1557 of the ACA, and more. With the workforce shortage of interpreters, bilingual and multilingual employees can now fulfill dual roles to include medical interpretation. Having home grown qualified interpreters increases employee satisfaction and retention. Trained employees are utilized by their fellow co-workers and medical staff which creates a more cohesive environment for the patient. But there is more, it also increases patient satisfaction, improves outcomes, and decreases cost!
